Since the launch of New World's closed beta, players have been wondering if all their hard earned progress will carry over to the full release of the game. In the closed beta, players were able to experience the wide variety of crafting, gathering, PvP, and leveling systems available – along with the wide array of character customization options.

With this in mind, it is understandable for players to be concerned about their progression being carried over to the full release of the game, since many have put time and effort into their progress. However, the closed beta period for New World was planned to be fully wiped before the full release of the game.

Yes. All progress from Closed Beta will be wiped so that everyone can start fresh upon the official launch.

Will New World Beta Progress Carry Over to Full Release?

The good news is that players who participated in the closed beta now have an ample idea of how they would like to build their characters again during the release of the full game. Players have also been able to experience other progression elements introduced such as resource systems, crafting systems, weapon leveling, and character leveling.

These progression elements will give beta players an advantage going into the full release, so even though they will not have their saved progression, they will have a fresh start with an abundance of information gained from their experiences.
