The performance was part of the opening ceremony on Sunday. Jax Anderson, under Flint Eastwood, toured with notable American rock band PVRIS in 2018. The band has released four albums since 2013.

Team Liquid won its fourth straight LCS championship by defeating Cloud9 in the final. TL became the first team in LCS history to win four LCS titles in a row. It marks a five-for-five streak as well for Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng. He's won four with Team Liquid and was part of Team SoloMid's last LCS championship roster.

Team Liquid and Cloud9 will both start the League of Legends World Championship in the main event stage.
