We have finally received the news we were all hoping for. Raven Software, the developers in charge of Warzone, have confirmed the nerfing of the DMR, akimbo Diamattis and more. After many complaints across social media from streamers, to rappers, and the community at large, we have finally gotten the confirmation.
Any player that has stepped into Warzone since Season 1 has experienced what can only be called the worst era of Warzone to date. Since the integration with Black Ops Cold War, players were expecting glitches and overpowered guns, but this was nothing like we've seen before.
Any player that stepped into the map only had a few options, the DMR, MAC-10, or Dual Wielding Diamattis. These guns overpowered and dominated any gunfight, rendering all other weapons insignificant. Combined, they were unstoppable.
Don't fret! We've heard you and a balance update is coming soon to address concerns about the DMR 14, Type 63, Mac 10, and dual pistols. ⚖️⏲️

Warzone DMR Nerf, Diamatti Nerf, Mac-10 Nerf All Confirmed by Developer
Now that we've received the news about the update players are ecstatic about the update. While there are always some form of "top gun" in the game, most of the prior season of Warzone was dominated by shotguns. However, they were only able to be used in close quarters combat. The DMR as well as the Type 63 added the element of range to the broken weapons department.
The only questions we have left are how soon is this coming? What will be the next gun that is considered 'overpowered', and how overpowered will it be? Hopefully we see the update soon, and the balance returns Warzone to normal. We'll grow impatient as we wait for the update, date to be announced.
