The Smash 64 combo contest at Super Smash Con has gained popularity since its fantastic display of skill last year. The oldest Smash game still has fanatics tinkering away for the most stylish combos they can think of using the game's wonky combo mechanics.

Last year, Prince showed the world that he is the king of combo contest for Smash 64, and he has delivered another fantastic combo this year at Super Smash Con's combo contest. The tournament permits the use of items and stage hazards, and Prince has proved effective at using every single tool to his advantage.

This clip shows the best work done at the combo contest this year, using Yoshi and the "lava" on Brinstar.

Each judge's reaction tells the viewer exactly how stylish the combo is in terms of Smash 64. The precise timing of Yoshi's fair and finishing f-smash makes this one of the most difficult combos shown at the contest as well. Prince has definitely practiced this single combo for hours to get the precise timing and the ability to recreate it live, on-stage.

Prince would go on to take the whole combo contest by a large margin, and is now the back-to-back champion. However, the rest of the combo contest is worth checking out for some highly technical but fashionable Smash 64 play.
