Tutronator location in Pokemon Sword and Shield is an important piece of information for one of the few returning Pokemon in the newest installment in the classic series for the Nintendo Switch. How common is Turtonator, how does it evolve, and how are its stats in terms of competitive battling?

Turtonator Evolution
Turtonator, first introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon for the Nintendo 3DS, is actually the only form in its evolutionary line, and so any Turtonator caught in the wild will not evolve or have any pre-evolutions from breeding.
Turtonator Location
Turtonator is a very rare Pokemon in generation VIII on many levels. First, Turtonator can only be found in copies of Pokemon Sword, so those with Pokemon Shield will either need to trade with a friend with a copy of Sword or via an online trade. For those with Sword, head over to the Lake of Outrage during a clear day with intense sunlight, as this is the only weather in which Turtonator spawns. Even with the perfect weather conditions, however, expect to wait a while before one shows up, as they only have a spawn rate of around 2%.
Turtonator Stats
Turtonator is a very effective Pokemon defensively, so expect it to take a lot of hits on your team.
