Thousand-Pierced Bear Volibear Skin: How to Claim

Thousand-Pierced Bear Volibear skin is a new skin for champion celebrating his rework going live in League of Legends Patch 10.11.

"To commemorate Volibear's update, we're giving away the Thousand-Pierced Bear skin to all players who owned Volibear prior to patch 10.11 and all players who purchase him during patch 10.11," Riot Games saind in the announcement.

Volibear's rework sees the champion get updates to his visuals and his abilities. Volibear looks like he'll shake up the meta quite a bit just as Wukong did when he received his rework. Riot Games is celebrating the rework's release by giving League of Legends players a free skin.

Players must log on to League of Legends between May 28 at 4 p.m. ET through June 10 at the same time. The amount of time Patch 10.11 will be on the live servers.

Players who owned Volibear prior to his rework, or those who purchase him during Patch 10.11, will receive the Thousand-Pierced Bear skin. Once the time frame expires, players can purchase the skin for 975 Riot Points in the store. Players who purchase Volibear during Patch 10.11 will have to re-log to get the skin.

"Creating a free skin isn't something we plan on doing for future champion updates, but in this case we felt like it was the right call. We hope fans of Volibear's eldritch horror concept enjoy this one-time bonus," Riot Games said.
