Taylor Swift to sing on Allure of the Seas cruise Jan. 21

Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas already turns heads as the world’s largest cruise ship.

Now, it’s attracting attention for hosting a concert onboard by singing star Taylor Swift — set for this Friday, Jan. 21 in Cozumel, Mexico.

The four-time Grammy award-winner will perform at the ship’s AquaTheater, with attendees to include 100 winners of a contest developed this fall with Clear Channel radio. The open-air amphitheatre holds 735 people.

Guests on the ship also can win passes to the performance by taking part in Taylor Swift-themed events aboard, including a look-alike contest, trivia contest, Taylor Swift karaoke and other activities, the cruise line said.
