The South Florida Sun-Sentinel salutes the Class of 2007 valedictorians and salutatorians from Broward County’s public and private high schools. To determine the top students, guidance directors in some cases had to calculate weighted grade point averages to the ten-thousandth of a point and beyond. Many students had higher GPAs than 4.0 because they took advanced placement or honors classes, which provide bonus points.
