A passing prayer was answered to give Sharon a thrilling 19-12 win over Soso in the Jones County PeeWee Football Association. Kymarion Lindsey’s Hail Mary to Tavion Wolverton straight down the middle of the field was the game-winner, after the teams were tied 13-13 at the half. When the 30-yard pass was completed, there was no time left on the play clock and the Tigers took the trophy.
Sharon took a two-score lead on touchdowns by Keegan Holmes and KyMaurin Lindsey, but Soso came storming back to tie it in the fourth quarter.
