The Sun Sentinel is calling all foodies and their friends and families for its “Gourmet Truck Expo” on June 29. There will be entertainment, drinks and more than 30 food trucks will be on site at Boca Center, 5250 Town Center Circle.
Admission is free from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., but for $10 guests can go to the front of the line during the VIP Power Hour (from 5:30-6:30p.m.). A portion of the proceeds from ticket and food sales will be donated to Sun Sentinel Children’s Fund. The Sun Sentinel Children’s Fund (SSCF), a McCormick Foundation Fund, gives grants to charities in Palm Beach and Broward Counties to support programs that help with basic human needs, education and literacy, and family support for children. Every dollar donated to the SSCF is matched at 50 cents from the McCormick Foundation.
