​Risk of Rain 2 hidden realm is found by activating the Altar of Gold and using it to reach the Gilded Coast, where the player must face the Aurelionite boss battle.

​To access this realm, players must pay more than 2000 gold to the Altar of Gold, which looks like a normal Chance Altar. Purchasing the altar will spawn a message that "a gold orb appears." Once the Teleporter Event is completed, a Golden Portal will appear, which transports the player to the secret Gilded Coast.

The Gilded Coast doesn't look very gilded. It is actually a pretty green area full of Stone Golems

Although there is a lot of gold to obtain in this area, Stone Titans, the hardier version of the Stone Golems, spawn as normal enemies here, so expect a tough fight. 

The boss Aurelionite is no slouch, either. To even access him, players will need to buy at least three of the obelisks dotted around the map. Each costs 700 gold to activate. Aurelionite has a ton of health and high armor to boot. To damage him, the players will need to purchase the remaining four obelisks. 

Risk of Rain 2 has quickly become one of the most popular games on Steam. Players starting off should use ​shrines to quickly gain gold early on. They should also try to reach the ​Timed Chest before time runs out.
