PlayerUnkown's Battleground has announced that they will give back to the community's content creators, first by making weapon skins based off of popular streamers Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek and Guy"DrDisRespect" Beahm.
The PUBG creators of the skins worked closely with both streamers to make sure that the skins reflect the streamers well. And to be honest, these skins are awesome.
Shroud's crate is called the "Ghosted Crate" and will come with at least these two skins.
As can be seen, the skins incorporate Shrouds color scheme of gray, black and white with a hint of blue. These skins are extremely well designed and also include Shrouds logo on them.
It definitely still pays homage to his Cloud9 past while separating his new brand. It's been awesome to see what shroud was able to do once he left the C9 organization.
DrDisRespect's skins will have another color scheme. His crate is called the "Speed & Momentum Crate" and will also include at least these two following skins.
The black and red color scheme is sick on these guns. Also, the simplicity of just the small etches of red with the gray and black is so unique.
These skins have his logo on them as well.
Both sets of weapon skins will be available from June 4 - June 30. They are limited time and can be obtained through Steam or Twitch, though the exact details have not been explained.
PUBG also explained that they are open to the idea of future collaborations with streamers.
With the game constantly fighting for Battle Royale dominance against Fortnite: Battle Royale, it is great to see them use their popular streamers to engage with the community. Hopefully, this event is successful.
