George Crossley, a conservative preacher from Central Florida who gained national attention after he was convicted of trying to hire a hit man to kill the husband of his former lover in the 1990s, has died. Crossley, 69, more recently a radio talk-show host, collapsed at his station, WEUS-810 AM in Altamonte Springs, on Wednesday evening, Sept. 8, 2010.
