SOMERSET -- The district playoffs continued Thursday night in high school football and Northern Bedford provided the drama.
Leading Windber 17-14 in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, the Panthers blocked the Ramblers' would-be game-tying field goal to preserve the victory and capture the District 5 Class A Championship.
In District 9, Karns City topped Punxsutawney 42-14 to win the Class AAA championship.
