NBA 2K21 Park Not Working

The Park feature has seen some significant bugs since launch—including its own launch. While some players have been able to get into the lobby without issue, the problems begin to arise once they decide to join a game.

The start of the match is often delayed indefinitely which leaves the affected players in a state of limbo until they quit. There is no way around this other than to wait and hope it works or restart the game, entirely. It appears that the software is unable to process a match start request, so, in lieu of a proper resolution, it leaves everyone hanging.

It the game does manage to go forward, the issues don't just disappear. Some players find they simply can't move at all. Despite switching between controller, keyboard, or otherwise, their avatar stays immobile. Only quitting the lobby can fix the problem—which likely would appear again.

There's a large chance that these issues are all related to a prolific connectivity problem currently plaguing the game. Fortunately, a hotfix is on the way to resolve quite a few major flaws. Perhaps another to maintain the server is in the works?
