San Diego Studios announced that the next MLB The Show 21 Diamond Dynasty Collection is coming on Aug. 3.
Legends and Flashbacks is one of the premier tabs in the Collection section of Diamond Dynasty. Players collect items from numerous sets including items such as Prime, Signature Series, Postseason, Rookie and Awards cards. These items are earned throughout the game cycle via Programs, Events, Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale and more.
The first big collection item was a 99 overall Milestone card for Mariano Rivera. Players had to collect a certain amount of cards in a specific set to earn a voucher toward Rivera. The only set that didn't have a voucher was the 42 Series. Instead of a voucher, 99 Jackie Robinson was the "ticket" for that set.

MLB The Show 21 New Collection Reward Coming Aug. 3
San Diego Studios hasn't teased yet what player is expected to feature as the next big reward to the dismay of fans.
Of course, it's easy to presume who might be added. Fans think it will possibly be Hank Aaron or Babe Ruth. Others are hopeful that David Wright or Derek Jeter will be randomly added, but that remains highly unlikely midway through this game cycle. Those are players that will most likely be tied as brand new Legends for either MLB The Show 22 or a future title.
It's expected that this reward will carry on the same principles as Rivera, but fans eagerly await any teaser information before the content drop on Aug. 3.
