Marysol Castro Biography

Marysol Castro is an eminent American journalist presently serving for Citi Field, home of the New York Mets as a public address announcer.

She is a former journalist who served at WPIX based in New York as a news anchor. Marysol served for The Early Show on CBS in 2011 as a weather forecaster. She also served on the weekend edition of Good Morning America as a featured correspondent on ABC.

She held this position from 2004 to 2010. In June 2015, Castro as a fill-in for weekday morning traffic reports became part of New Haven-based WTNH-TV. She served in this position until mid-November 2015. In January 2019, Marysol joined the booth of the Android IOS and app BallparkDJ.

However, in November 2015, Castro was relieved of her fill-in duties before she later left the station. In July 2015,  Marysol became part of ESPN as their host of Premier Boxing Champions on ESPN

Later, on May 30, 2018, She became the public address announcer at Citi Fiel. Castro took over the role from Alex Anthony. Currently, She shares PA duties with Colin Cosell.
