God of War was released on PlayStation 4 in April 2018. Nineteen million copies were sold by August 2021 making it the best-selling PlayStation 4 game.

Currently, God of War is only available on Steam for pre-order, and the game will be fully available on Jan. 14.

The Santa Monica Studio announced the PC release of God of War in October. The PC version will support 4K resolution and has full integration with NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) to deliver the best graphics without sacrificing high performance.

The PC version will also support 21:9 ultra-widescreen and supports PlayStation controllers.

God of War on Steam will also include digital content. The purchase of the game will include Death's Vow Armor Sets, Exile's Guardian Shield Skin, Buckler of the Forge Shield Skin, Shining Elven Soul Shield and Dökkenshieldr Shield Skin

God of War is available for pre-order on Steam now for 49.99. God of War will be available on Steam on Jan. 14.
