In a Strange Land is the AC Valhalla quest players must complete in order to reach the secret playable map area known as Vinland. Here's how to find the quest, finish it, and reach Vinland for yourself.

In a Strange Land AC Valhalla: How to Reach Vinland
To get the quest, you'll have to talk to Hytham and Randvi after you find the Maegester leader of the Wardens of War. You should kill one member of the order early in the story, and you can identify two more after building the Hidden Ones' Bureau. Three more can only be hunted during the Lunden quest arc titled The City of War.
Once you've completed all that, talk to Hytham in Ravensthorpe. He'll tell you about Vinland. Talk to Randvi next, and she'll send you to the Ravensthorpe docks. There you'll meet Nessa, who will take you to Vinland.
Vinland is actually North America, and when you arrive you'll be able to find Easter eggs referring to Assassin's Creed III.
