Florida Power & Light Co. has been urging utility customers to try its electronic billing it dubbed “eBill” in 2017, improving it with more alerts and notifications via text, email or push notifications via FPL’s mobile app. But some who prefer a paper statement to electronic say they’ve had a hard time getting out of the eBill program.
Here are FPL’s step-by-step instructions for the customer who wants to opt out of eBill online:
Option 1
1. Visit
2. Click “View/make changes”
3.Then, select “How do I discontinue FPL eBill” and click the discontinue link within the answer
Option 2
1. Log into your account
2. Expand the “Billing & Payment Options” section
3. Under Billing Options, click Edit under FPL eBill
4. Then, select “How do I discontinue FPL eBill” and click the discontinue link within the answer
