Adding people on Rocket League is quite simple. In the bottom right corner of the home screen, there should be an option to select. After clicking on this option a window will pop up with your in-game name and also your Epic ID.

From there, at the bottom of the window, there should be an option to "Add Epic Friend." This will then prompt you to type in the Epic ID of the person you would like to add and if typed in correctly, this will send a friend request. That player will then need to go to the same screen but scroll to the notifications section. From there, they will either accept or deny the friend request.

Luckily, Rocket League supports crossplay which means that players who play on the XBox 1, PS4 and PC can all play with each other.
