The 4,084-square-foot house, which was built in 1986, is in Estoville.
Dr. Garrod is a hand and orthopedic surgeon in Boca Raton. He has been in private practice since 1984 and is affiliated with Boca Raton Community Hospital and Bethesda Memorial Hospital.
He has also taught at the Tufts University School of Medicine and the Florida Atlantic University Miller School of Medicine.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and obtained his medical degree in 1977 from the New Jersey Medical School in Newark.
Mrs. Garrod works for her husband’s office as an administrative assistant.
She attended the University of Florida, where she earned a B.A. in speech pathology in 1975. She graduated from New York University in 1978.
There were 1,282 home sales in Boca Raton in 2008 with median sales price of $350,000.
