“Glee” alum Samantha Ware claims star Lea Michele’s “traumatic microaggressions” made her experience on the musical TV series “a living hell.”
On Monday, 28-year-old Ware — who played Jane Hayward on several episodes of the show — responded to Michele’s Friday tweet about last week’s death of a black man in the custody of Minneapolis police. Michele wrote: “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter.”
Ware responded, in all caps, “Lmao remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?!” I believe you told everyone that if you had the opportunity you would ‘s–t in my wig!’ Amongst other traumatic microaggressions that made me question a career in Hollywood.”

HelloFresh, a meal kit delivery service, ended its partnership with Michele following Ware’s accusations, writing in a tweet that “We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele.”
While Michele, 33, has not yet to respond to Ware’s allegations, some of the pair’s other “Glee” co-stars have offered their two cents.
Amber Riley, who starred as Mercedes Jones, tweeted a cryptic gif of herself looking both ways before drinking from a mug. She then tweeted a gif of herself saying, “Let’s move on,” on which she wrote, “#DefundThePolice #prosecutekillercops #BlackLives Matter,” which Ware retweeted.
Alex Newell, who played Wade “Unique” Adams, tweeted a gif from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in which Coco says, “Get her Jade!”
In response to “Community” star Yvette Nicole Brown saying she “felt every one of those capital letters,” Newell also tweeted that Ware’s capitalized words, “Felt like claps!!”
Dabier Snell, who appeared on a season 5 episode, responded to Michele’s tweet, also in caps: “Girl you wouldnt let me sit at the table with the other cast members cause ‘I didnt belong there’ f–k you Lea.”
