Epic Games has disabled Fortnite's new Bot Grenades temporarily as the developer investigates an unidentified problem.
Epic Games added Bot Grenades to Fortnite in Update 11.31. Somewhat misleadingly named, Bot Grenades are less weapons than tools for creative players to use as they build their own game modes in the Battle Lab. They can be used to spawn A.I.-controlled bot enemies, allowing players to test out combat scenarios.

Epic Games uses a Trello board to keep players abreast of the bugs and quality of life improvements the developer plans to address in the near future. According to that Trello board, Epic Games removed Bot Grenades the same day they arrived in-game.
"As we investigate an issue, we have temporarily disabled Bot Grenades," Epic Games wrote. No further explanation has been given.
Fortnite Update 11.31 also reorganized Fortnite's menus, moving Playground into the Creative section. Players can now play Creative maps by queueing for Creative and choosing "Play" instead of "Create."
