Walt Disney World has announced the 2023 dates for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The event will begin July 27 and go through Nov. 18, a run of more than 16 weeks.
The official Disney Parks Blog notes that there will be more than 25 marketplaces of food, although it doesn’t share many details, identifying returning stops such as Canada, Spain, India, Flavors From Fire and the Fry Basket, which was a new festival offering in 2022.
“Several new global marketplaces will open later during the festival as summer turns to fall,” the post says. Menus were not announced.
The event will include Emile’s Fromage Montage, a cheese-driven activity; Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, in which visitors search for the rat character in the park; and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a scavenger hunt that will be offered Sept. 29-Oct. 31.
The Eat to the Beat concert series was included in the post, but no acts were announced.
Food & Wine will begin three weeks after the end of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, currently underway. The food fest will end on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
