Dan Henry is an accomplished American journalist and an Emmy Award-winning currently working as a Chief Meteorologist at FOX 4. Henry joined the station in January 2003.

His s family relocated from California to the East Coast and he was excited to see ‘real’ snow for the first time in his life in February of 1979. The Philadelphia meteorologists said that there would be 1 to 3 inches of snow on the 11 p.m. news. The Presidents’ Day Blizzard left Henry in awe and ignited his interest in meteorology and forecasting.

His passion for watching the weather eventually led Him to Penn State University where he earned a B.S. degree in Meteorology and became a football fanatic.

During his tenure at Penn State, Dan completed a 3-semester internship at the National Weather Service that landed me a job as a research meteorologist upon graduation. In addition, after two years of number crunching, he was ready to give television a try. He sent a tape to a small station in Wilmington, North Carolina, and as they say, the rest is history.
