Dan Dickerson is a sportscaster currently working on the Detroit Tigers Radio Network of Major League Baseball’s Detroit Tigers as the lead radio play-by-play voice. He tripped in Kansas City, Missouri on a curb while jogging outside the Detroit Tigers team hotel on May 26, 2009. Dan was forced to miss six games to return to Michigan for surgery.
John Keating filled in for Al Kaline and substituted for the Baltimore series and the remainder of the Kansas City series. Dan was named the Ernie Harwell Lifetime Achievement Award winner by Detroit Sports Media in the year 2016.
