Cyberpunk 2077 Audio Crackling: How to Fix It

Many gamers have noted that there have been several audio issues in Cyberpunk 2077, some of which have been making the game somewhat unplayable at times. One of these bizarre bugs has made it feel like the audio is producing an odd crackling effect in-game. At the moment there hasn't been a tone of guides published on how to fix it, especially on console, but there does seem to be one for PC which I will divulge to you now.

Here is how to solve the Audio Crackling issue on PC:

  • Click on the sound icon in the bottom right of your task bar.
  • Click "Open Sound Settings."
  • Select "Output Device Properties."
  • Select "Additional Device Properties."
  • Select the Advanced Tab.
  • Change your audio device quality down to 96000 Hz or until the crackling effect goes away.

Follow those steps and it should do away with the annoying crackling effect allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.
