Crackdown 3 character creation isn't character creation so much as it is character selection. But that doesn't mean it's not important. Selecting a character can make a real difference in how the game plays out, affecting how quickly your stats grow. Here are three things to know about Crackdown 3 character selection.
Crackdown 3 Has No Character Customization
Crackdown 3 has a total of 21 characters to choose from (though 15 are locked at the start of the game). This gives players a solid amount of variety, but does come short of giving full character customization in the vein of, say, Skyrim.
Crackdown 3 Characters Have Different Stats
Each of the characters in Crackdown 3 have slightly different stat growth rates. For instance, the character Jaxon gains strength experience 10 percent faster than average, and explosives experience 5 percent faster. Varma, meanwhile, gains agility experience 10 percent faster and firearms experience 5 percent faster.
Crackdown 3 Mike Forgey Tribute
One of the playable agents in Crackdown 3 is a tribute to a former games producer at Xbox. Forgey, the bald character with a huge blond beard, stands in memorial of Mike Forgey, who previously worked on Perfect Dark Zero, Fable and other games. Forgey died in 2016 after battling cancer.
