Red Dead Redemption 2 has multiple hunting challenges for players looking to complete certain achievements.

Cougar Spawn Red Dead Redemption 2

First off, cougars are a rare spawn in Red Dead Redemption 2, so it takes time to find them at times. Don't be frustrated if they're nowhere to be found at times.

There is a consistent spawn point northwest of Strawberry and almost directly west of Big Valley. There is a road that runs north and south. The specific spot is directly above the boar symbol on the road.

The name of the game is patience. It's not an exact science, but look around and if you can't seem to spot one, you can sleep and go out again on the next day. To give yourself an advantage, make sure to keep an eye out on the mini map; a cougar will appear as a red dot on the map.

To complete the Master Hunter challenge 6, players need to kill six cougars with arrows and skin them.
