The Florida Highway Patrol on Monday advised drivers of low visibility due to a brush fire on US27 in Broward just before the Palm Beach County line.

FHP said early Monday that the fire on US27, between Interstate 75 and the Palm Beach County line, was “contained” and that no road closures were in effect, despite the smoke and fog.

“We ask the public to remain vigilant when driving in the area,” FHP spokesperson Indiana Miranda said in a statement.
