Resignation ends embezzlement/fraud case against official
Supervisor Travares Comegys has resigned and the charges he was facing for embezzlement/fraud have been dismissed, according to an order that was filed in Jones County Circuit Court on Wednesday afternoon. But he left the door open to return to public office.
