My Project
I teach about 25 eager-to-learn 8 and 9-year-old children. Their love for learning is what makes teaching them so much fun. I want them to be able to choose from a variety of books from our newly organized classroom library. These book bins will help us keep our classroom library organized by Reading levels. My students love to read books from our classroom library. Our current book bins have been used so much over the years, that they are beginning to crack and break! We dedicate time each day to allow kids to get lost in an independent reading book of their choice. By doing this each year, we have watched reluctant readers turn into full on book lovers who look forward to reading time. These book bins will be a great addition to our classroom. They will make it so easy for students to find books to read that are on their independent reading levels.
