Blizzard confirmed the BlizzCon-exclusive Overwatch skin will be of legendary rarity in an email sent Monday to fans who purchased tickets ​to the event.

In the email, which also included ticketing information, a discount on goody bags at the event and forthcoming early access to an online Blizzard Gear sale, Blizzard wrote that details about the skin would be revealed 6 p.m. ET Wednesday.

The email also wrote that more cosmetics would be available, with more information coming after the skin reveal.

Blizzard ​announced BlizzCon 2018 April 9, with the event itself scheduled for Nov. 2-3 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The first wave of tickets went on sale May 9, while the ​second went on sale May 12.

Previous BlizzCons have seen the release of new maps, animated shorts and heroes for Overwatch.

The finals of the Overwatch World Cup are scheduled to take place at BlizzCon. So far, Team South Korea and Team Finland ​qualified through the Incheon Group. Team USA and Team Canada ​qualified through the Los Angeles Group. The Bangkok Group is ​set to begin Wednesday at 11 p.m. ET.
