HOLLYWOOD — Singer Pat Benatar and her husband-guitarist-producer Neil Giraldo expect to hit the concert tour trail in October, with their 8-year-old daughter, Haley, along.
“We’ll only go out for about a month. We wouldn’t want to keep Haley out of school any longer than that,” says Pat. She adds, “We always take her with us. She’s our best traveler.”
The songstress, currently enjoying the hit status of her Somebody’s Baby single (off her Gravity’s Rainbow album), is also planning to lens a video for her Every Time I Fall Back tune.
She doesn’t anticipate any more acting. Benatar played in the ABC telepic Broken Promises in the ’80s. But now, “I just can’t juggle everything I’m doing plus an acting career. I have to sacrifice something — and it’s not going to be my child.”
