Battlefield 4 is currently available as a free game download via Prime Gaming.

The hype around Electronic Arts and DICE's Battlefield franchise is building once again after Battlefield 2042 was announced as the next entry in the series. A return to modern combat after two entries in World War I and II respectively, 2042 is a sequel to Battlefield 4. One of the most popular shooters of the last decade, the game is currently free for those who have Prime Gaming subscriptions.

Unfortunately, for those who have missed out so far, today, June 21, is the last day to claim it. Here's how to do so.

Battlefield 4 on Prime Gaming: How to Claim

First, as previously mentioned, you have to have a Prime Gaming subscription. Those who have Amazon Prime can link their Twitch accounts for no additional cost.

Next, click on the Prime Loot tab on the homepage. It is the Crown button in the top right hand corner. From there, scroll down to where Battlefield 4 is listed. Click claim and Twitch will prompt you with a Product Key. That key is then to be used in Origin, EA's game client. Once you're logged into Origin, click on Origin in the top left on the navigation bar and go to Redeem Product Code.

Paste the Battlefield 4 key that you received from Prime Gaming in there to claim it. Then, start your download. After the download is done, enjoy!

Remember, June 21 is the last day to get this game for free through Prime Gaming.
