The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said an autopsy was scheduled Monday for a woman found dead in a rural area of West Delray on Saturday.
Deputies said the woman appeared to be white or Hispanic and is believed to have been in her 20s. The woman’s identity has not been released.
The woman’s body was discovered by a resident who lived near the 14000 block of Smith Sundy Road in West Delray Beach. Deputies said evidence at the scene suggests there was foul play involved and they are classifying the incident as a homicide.
