Respawn Entertainment has yet to officially acknowledge the issue, but there are some ways you can make the lag in Apex Legends better for now.

Apex Legends Season 6 Lag: What is the Problem and How to Fix

Based on player reports, the lag seems to be mostly affecting players on the east coast in the United States. If you're playing from here, you could switch to another server further west. You'll be dealing with more ping, but the game will at least be in somewhat of a playable state.

A general Season 6 troubleshooting guide was released on the EA forums last Saturday by Zeelmaekers. It details how to change your DNS on PC, Xbox, and PS4, which has given some players success in reducing lag.

If changing DNS doesn't work, you will just have to wait for the EA's servers to go back up. There's not much you can do, as the issue is entirely server-side.
