-Amaray Las Olas, a 30-story ultra-luxury apartment tower in downtown Fort Lauderdale, has sold for $133.5 million, property records show.
Amaray Las Olas By Windsor LLC, an entity tied to an investment group based in Boston, bought the complex at 215 S.E. Eighth Ave. with a $65 million mortgage. The seller was the development firm, a joint venture of the Rockefeller Group and the Stiles real estate firm.
The 254-unit project one block from Las Olas Boulevard has studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units offering waterfront views.- Amenities include a pool with private cabanas, an entertainment pavilion, a beverage lounge and dog spa.
Cushman & Wakefield listed the property for the seller earlier this year without an asking price.
The average unit in the 285,329-square-foot building is 1,123 square feet and rents for $3,488 a month, Cushman said at the time.
Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles and Rockefeller completed the building last year. Stiles has said the project was designed to attract upscale professionals working downtown who want larger living spaces without the burdens of home maintenance.
“Stiles and Rockefeller Group shared a vision to transform an incredibly located parcel of land with irreplaceable views into a property that sets new standards for ultra-luxury apartment home living in downtown Fort Lauderdale,” Jeff McDonough, president of Stiles Residential Group, said in a statement.
