My Project
Hello! I teach Pre-K and I love getting to teach my students the basics such as colors, shapes, and sounds. I found these Alpha Pals and felt like they would be the perfect addition to my classroom! This will be my second year teaching. I am wanting to do more play based and hands on learning in the classroom. I believe these will help my students be able to have a visual of the letters they are learning about and we can use them in learning centers to reinforce lessons. At the beginning of the year, we will just be introducing letters and the Alpha Pals will help provide visual and tactile support. As we read our letter books, the Alpha Pals will be present and after we finish our book they will be passed arounds as we practice the letter and sound we just learned about. Towards the middle and end of the year, we will be able to make words with the Alpha Pals and use them to substitute letters in rhyming words (bat, cat, sat, etc.)
